Ski pictures
I went to download the pictures from my camera from last weekend, and realized that it has been over a month since I looked at any of the pictures I have taken recently! With no further ado, here are some selections from February and March 2013.

4:15 am
4:15 am is not a time of day I enjoy. Yet, that is the time I found myself getting up at yesterday. Get up at 4:15 am, in the van by 4:50, roll into the ferry terminal in Nanaimo by 6:10 am for the 6:30 am ferry. Yesterday was a very long day when you …

I’m not sure what to write today. I’m tired, and have been dealing with a lot lately – work – life – music – lots. The whole world seems to be a bit topsy-turvy today…

Music
I play music. Quite a lot actually. It started a couple of years ago with some of my neighbours. Well, one in particular. My friend and neighbour Sperlin had been bet $1,000 (donated to the charity of his choice) by his brother that he could not sing a…

Profundity
This is a post about nothing.
Its been one of those weeks. Between work, not enough sleep, recording for an album, arranging the Paisley Bandits next gig, getting my son to school, picking him up, feeding him, getting him to bed, re-do…the weekend wa…
The “Why”
Welcome to the home of Braxton Consulting (a.k.a. Andrew Gower).
Before we get on with blog posts, philosophical ramblings, and reviews/reports on equipment I am looking at, let’s talk about me and why the hell I am doing this site anyways.
I get things stuck in my head that need to come out. I also do some gear reviews and testing on the side. This page provides me the platform to say what I am thinking, and pass on things I learn about life. Originally focussed on gear reviews and advenetures, the path I have been following has diverged somewhat, so now you will hear about many topics – all shared with passion.
