My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.

busy, busy, busy

My apologies loyal fans, I have just realized that I have not written an actual blog post in some time.  In fact, I’ve been limping by with flashy photo’s and half-meant promises of more “blogging” to follow.  I haven’t made good on these pro…

rain at Cain

Not to be confused with pain at Cain, an altogether less pleasant Cain experience.  I took my son up to Cain where we stayed in a borrowed cabin and generally checked things out.  There is still a lot of snow.  And bears – lots of bears….

The “Why”

Welcome to the home of Braxton Consulting (a.k.a. Andrew Gower).

Before we get on with blog posts, philosophical ramblings, and reviews/reports on equipment I am looking at, let’s talk about me and why the hell I am doing this site anyways.

I get things stuck in my head that need to come out. I also do some gear reviews and testing on the side. This page provides me the platform to say what I am thinking, and pass on things I learn about life. Originally focussed on gear reviews and advenetures, the path I have been following has diverged somewhat, so now you will hear about many topics – all shared with passion.
