It was hot – it was dusty – it was rooty and it was
rocky.  But none of that stopped 214
racers from coming out to challenge the Monster Mile at Mt. Washington
on Sunday, August 1, 2010.  There were
some scorching hot times thrown down, with some of the most impressive times
coming from the U17 men – the top three were all under 3:50!!!

Remi Gauvin held fastest time of the day at 3:35.38 until
Dean Tennant came down with a scorching time of 3:34.40 to take the men’s pro
win and the fastest time of the day.

Not to be outdone by the men, there were a fair number of
fast women out to race Sunday too.  Holly
Feniak came down with an impressive 4:18.50 to be the second fastest woman on
course all day, only beaten by Miranda Miller in pro women with a 4:18.24.

Even Brett Tippie came out in full Fro-rider regalia to
announce and manage the hot seat as only he can. I’ll let the short video and
the photo’s do the rest of the talking for me.
See you next year!
