I’m going to stray a little from my usual format of reporting adventures and reviewing gear. You see, that’s not what I do with all of my time (although that would be nice if I could!). On the side, I have a bit of a political activist streak that I have been keeping going with a small organization called Imagine Comox Valley. We’ve been pretty quiet lately, but recently began working on organizing a TEDx event. If you don’t know what TED is – clear a couple of hours in your schedule, go to the TED website and watch three talks at random. You will be amazed, inspired and challenged! Unless, of course, you have no imagination or passion. If that’s the case, I would prefer you don’t read my blog anyways!!
So, coming to North Island College on Monday, Aprill 4th – TEDxComoxValley! (its actually our third go at this!)
Make sure you get there early if you want a seat – we may fill up! We also have a mystery musical guest!!! Of course, I have the Mount Cain closing weekend to get through first…
